I found out that Jet City offers a Ben Verellen mod for the JCA20h that removes pretty much all the preamp drive, in the interest of giving maximum headroom for pedal users.

I have a Sunn 200s head coming to my door on saturday. Very excited, as I haven't had a tube amp since my Carvin x100b died years ago. Back then I knew nothing about amps and I sold it...I wish I had kept it around to fix.
