I only really started listening to SSPU when they opened up for Muse last time they came through Boston, and they blew Muse out of the fucking water. I love that they opened up with like a 7 minute song that ended in a mess of feedback and noise. Definitely not what most of the Muse fangirls were looking for.

Carnivas is cool, Swoon is really fucking good. I agree that a good portion of their songs sound like Pumpkins with less annoying vocals, and then they have a few tracks on each album that sound like MBV.

Whenever I listen to a demo and I hear, "Les Paul treble/bridge pickup..." I turn off the demo.

I like 'em. Plus, I would do such horrible things to their bass player. Like, sinful things. I would get stoned, in some countries, for doing such sinful things. To their bass player. SINFUL. THINGS.

I did this once for a drag show. It's really not that bad. The bad part is shaving your legs, especially in the ankle and knee areas, because it's really easy to cut yourself and it bleeds FOREVER.
