First band I ever saw live. Great fun, especially when they played "The Ballad of Tom Jones" with Cerys Matthews supposedly "live via satellite from Merthyr Tydfil". In reality it was just her pre-recorded voice, but it was still a joy to hear.

One of the greatest things about Cerys Matthews is that she sings with that Welsh accent. As one review of her band Catatonia described it, a voice you "could lure children into gingerbread houses" with.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.
