i'm taking printmaking (etching) this semester and after having studio classes with some of the kids in there previously and seeing how utterly inept they are at using tools and cleaning up i know i'm going to hate everyone. still excited for the class! i just have bad memories from the linoleum prints we did last semester. SOME PEOPLE LAID THE BRAYERS WITH THE ROLLERS DOWNNNNN. also i shake my head at people who can't sharpen pencils with x-acto knives without endangering everyone around them. JESUS FUCK

also my friend keeps telling me about all the awesome sex she had over break and i'm like IM HAPPY FOR YOU, BUT THAT'S COOL, I'M A NUN. so much jealous rage.

Have you tried sitting on your amp while your guitar feeds back?

I'm no expert on vaginae, but I'm sure that would work.

Also, one day... one day I would like to learn to clean up after myself. I'm such a sloppy person that it actually interferes with my daily life. And I hate it. But, like... take the plate to the kitchen when I'm done with it? The floor beside my desk is so much closer. And why pick up the cups when they seem so happy piling up on my desk... Put the tools up? Pffft. I'll just lay them on my bed until I barely have room to sleep.

I need help. :'(

Also, I used my wire cutters on things too hard for wire cutters (like guitar strings), and used them as pliers a bit... and now they don't work that great. Which fucking sucks because I bought nice ones, and now I have to buy new ones. And I'm too OCD not to buy matching pliers... and the little spring thing on mine (which were also pretty expensive) broke anyways. It's weird how much springs matter... renders them much more awkward to use when they don't open on their own. Soo, great. Money money money.

Also, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the wrong threads, forgetting that I didn't post, or my posts are disappearing. :erm:

psshhh, i'm talking about art clean. dishes and dirt? that shit doesn't matter. the only time being clean matters is when it comes to the studio!

i am sorry to hear about your wire cutters. REST IN PEACE, BRAVE SOLDIER. get one of those peg winder string cutter combos. those are sikkkkk.

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. Here's one of my handy living tips regarding those tools on the bed:
Wrap them up in your blanket/sheet and throw it into a corner of the room. Now your bed is free and when you need the tools, there they are -- all in one place!

Getting impatient waiting on my order from Omerica to arrive. I got the shipping confirmation email over the weekend; 1-3 days but of course Monday was a holiday,..so it's three days latter today technically. I've been making sure to shovel the snow from the walk way and sidewalk. Normally the postman doesn't get here until after I leave for work,...which means that I effectively won't get em till tomorrow.

I keep em around for emergency backup but I hate these acrylic plugs I have currently in my ears,...they suck,...suck suck suck.

I promise I'll take better care of the wooden ones/take them out before getting in the shower/not let the dog eat them.

I wish I'd look good with gauges. I always want to start gauging so that I can have wood plugs like those, but I'm too much of a bitch, and it would look funny on me.

Make sure to post a pic when you get them. Wood plugs are the shit.

i'm having a pretty shitty day...

yeah, there's been some good moments... like being calmed down before an exam i didn't really study for by smoking a cigarette whilst listening to Earth and walking through a rainy bleak city day (i love those... )

or maybe passing the exam because i guessed quite a few things right

or recieving Memory Toy for my bass player friend... i'm just a medium... of making people happy and better

and that's about it because now i'm bored, ill, grumpy, hungry and i don't know what i should do with my rig because something doesn't seem right

Here is the quick route.

But seriously,...you only look dumb if you think you look dumb.

I started slowly stretching from 10g all the way up to 00g. It took from the time I was 18 until the time I was 23 to get up to the size I'm at. I'm not going any further as I've been at this gauge for ~10 years and I think any bigger is too flamboyant for my tastes. You also get to the point that your lobes get so thin that they just look constantly irritated it just looks yucky IMO. You really have to be patient or you can wind up with keloids, blowouts, catbutt, etc. (I don't recommend you do any google image searching on any of those *shudders*).

I'm really into supporting Omerica Organic so this was just a flimsy pretext to plug the company. They have a lot of cool designs and I'm totally getting the Rising Sun Concaves at some point. My biggest issue with sourcing plugs locally is that they places in town really don't stock my size and if they do it's usually in some in-organic material,...the jewelry is cheap and the plugs are too long for my skinny ears. Omerica has a variety of "wearing lengths" that fit my ears better and with the double flares I don't have to worry about loosing O rings or parts (IE: loosing the "nut" on threaded flesh tunnels).

Bonus points for the one of their employees being so fine. Not that I harbor any illusions,...but she is easy on the eyes.

I'm thinking about ending whatever "relationship" I'm in right now. I've really never been in that position, and not in a relationship for a while. I kinda feel like a dick, cause I'm not sure why I'd be ending it, but likewise I'm not sure why I'd keep things going (besides poon). I don't know if it's cold feet or the initial shock of someone being interested in me has subsided and I've realized I'm not interested in pursuing things further.

But then I've got to say it somehow... le sigh. I guess lame, one-sided drama is still better than nothing.

Also, I did not make nearly as much money as I wanted to over break.

If you feel like ending it, wait one week. See if that's how you feel. Think about it, you know? Because you might regret it after you end it.

Or, not!
