the best dreams are the ones you wake up hating

so this is a short chronicle of last nights events that i feel led up to this dream, i shall then tell you the dream
if this does not interest you read on anyway, you have nothing better to do so shut up and listen

i got home around 3am this morn as I had a few beers with some friends...well actually i only had 2 since I was driving and all, but still
we hit up in-n-out and stayed there for a bit when after a while these scene chicks showed up, all really cute and one looked just like this one ex of mine, astoundingly good looking. I thought it was her for a bit but nah, wishful thinking or something else stupid
well I was already thinking about this ex due to the fact that driving home earlier in in the day i was listening to the local college station (which can be found here http://kfsr.org) and they played Passion Pit's The Reeling, I loved it so I get home, youtube it and what not and the video kinda reminds me of the ex lady

so ok we head back to my buddies place, drink a bit and a guitar gets pulled out
so naturally, because most of us are mexican, we start singing depressing mexican songs everything from Volver, Volver to Cuatro Espadas
mat, my buddy with the guitar, is a straight up flamenco elitist prick so he starts singing depressing gipsy songs!

i get home, don't even equip my pajamas (lol) and just fall into bed.
i dreamed that I was at some college somewhere, weather was great a nice like 68 degrees or so, clouds in the sky but not enough to be gloomy, everything looked like when you do a water color and theres just barely enough water so the colors are all dark, there were pine trees and tons of green grass and crap
and i see her
and she walks over to me, and we talk and hang out and all that other preteen after school special nonesense culminating in, of course, the 5 minute goodbye hug
...
i wake up feeling freakin jovial, ecstatic and all other synonyms for "quite elated"
then it hit me that it wasnt for real
i swear I went throug these exact faces







but at the end of We've Become Spiders I'm adding the lyric
"I'm not running from anything
I'm running in hopes of seeing you again"

so I guess it wasn't a total loss...or a negative gain really O.o

it's a cruel joke to one's self when that happens, just gets you thinking about what you want, but refuse to acknowledge... keep dreaming.

When I was little I used to have dreams about getting a purple holographic Alakazam Pokemon and I would wake up and be like "FUCK." Cause' back then what was more important? So I finally went out and bought it for like $40.

Also this one awesome night I had a dream that seemed to realistically last like 3 years. I was living as a surfer in California and I worked in a surf board store and I had a successful surf-rock band. The thing that got me was that it seemed so real. Like I seemed so comfortable in that life, and with all my friends and my pet iguana. It was like I was visiting an alternate dimension in the past or something. Either way it awesome!

I have a story somewhat related to this, except it has a different ending.

About 5 years ago, I had a dream one night where I dreamt that I met a girl that I was instantly in love with. The weird thing was, the girl in my dream was my ex-girlfriend. But I didn't seem to realize it in my dream. I only realized it in the morning when I remembered the dream. I spent the entire day bummed out, in a completely shitty mood, snapping at all of my roommates, just being a prick. I was supposed to go out that night with my best buddy to hang out with his girlfriend and her friend. I almost cancelled because I felt so shitty, and I knew I would just be miserable to be around. At the last second I changed my mind and went. His girlfriend is now his wife, and her friend is now my wife. And that dream sticks with me that day, as it seemed to foreshadow meeting a girl, and I took it seriously that night. I know this sounds like bullshit, but it is swear-to-balls true. Wacky how shit works out sometimes.

I dreamt that my brother called and said “I've got our tickets to Ecuador and if you give me $100 I can upgrade to first class”

So I gave him $100 and then drove with him to the airport.

He said “park in long term, we'll be gone for at least 2 weeks.”

So I parked and we went inside.

He said “give me the keys for when we get back.”

I asked “why, I was going to drive it when we got back.”

he said “Oh are you going some where too?”

The next day my sister called and said he was flying in for a visit.

I had a dream that Haruhi came to stay in my home town. Except it wasn't really Haruhi, it was just her voice actress, but I'm surrounded by nerds. And apparently I had a past history with her.

Oddly enough I had no idea what she looked like, but my head seemed to get it exactly right -

Then I had another dream that was equally bizarre, but I can't remember that at all.

Also I would have thought she'd be in her thirties, but apparently she's a year younger than me(again my dreams are smarter than me).

I think it was sparkd by a thread on /jp/ where someone said they wanted to have sex with Haruhi's voice.
