i really wish i could ditch my mortgage, my house, my roommate, and everything associated with my life other than my adorable furry grey cat and my guitars, find a job on the other side of the country, and start everything over. i'm so fucking sick of California, and of the life i've had for the last thirty years, that i could just lie down and vomit. this was brought into focus a few days ago when i got an e-mail from the agency which is working on a job for me out here, asking if i'd be interested in applying for a position in Chicago (where i grew up). if i wasn't committed to trying to do the band with Dan and his friend who's living up in Sacramento i'd apply for it in a split-second, but i'm stuck with this. :no:

Is there a girl who listens to great music, plays music and is smart and funny and good looking? seems more and more like a fucking fairy tale as I grow older.

It doesn't bother me all that much as long as they don't wear too much. And by too much I mean when I wake up in the morning I don't want to wake up next to a stranger and what looks like my girlfriends face smeared over the pillow next to me.

Man, I don't agree on the makeup thing at all. Maybe the girls you're dating are putting on too much or something, but most girls look a whole lot hotter with a little bit of makeup on. I don't see what's so wrong about that. Feel happy that they're putting in an effort at all, and not just resigned to looking dumpy and sitting on the couch and letting herself go. :idk:

i am in one of those moods i get into periodically where i could just PUNCH A BABY IN THE NUTS.i'll be OK later, after i take care of some very worry-making paperwork related to the fucking mortgage, but right now i really really don't like my life. if yesterday i wanted to dump my situation and move to Chicago, today i just want to take my cat and my 000 and move to fuckin' Prague.

I feel like this is true sometimes depending on the girl and her style. I mean if she looks like she's trying to win a beauty pagent in rural Missouri, then that's no fun. However if you're banging some cute gothy/emo chick then some stuff might be cool. :idk:

I just realized I know absolutely nothing about make up. That's why descriptions suck.

it all depends on the artistic ability of the user. i've known women--and men for that matter--who laid on the makeup with a trowel and still looked natural, and women who used just a touch and looked like carnival clowns.
