Nice, can't beat the el cap/wet. What settings do you use on the geiger counter? I tend to keep my on wave 12 with the left led on red only. This let's me get Lofi to synthy tones without changing the wave form.

played with a kinda shit band one time that had this cool idea. the guitarist had patches with like 4 samples mapped where it was the same sample over a 1/4 of the keyboard, they'd program it to be a monophonic setup, and he'd just mash that Sample Quadrant with his foot.

I think you'll find that that Akai is the Synthstation25,...which is a keyboard controller for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Also looks like there are lego boobs on the 2880.

Exactly, I use it with an old Iphone 3G, with Animoog, Garageband etc...

the "lego boobs" on the 2880 are for controlling records, play, reverse, without an extra foot controller : less space on the board, and free !
