i would get a case--it's the best protection. you should be able to find one for the t 40 on ebay or craigslist.

I can't really hit up ebay or craigslist as id need to ship it to australia which would end up being an extra $100ish. Any new cases that fit ?
sorry, mate--didn't know you were in oz. maybe try the ozbassforum? i don't know of any new cases that would fit, especially any available there.

i dunno if they have dealers out OZ way, but i LOVE the Mono cases. they're a hard/soft hybrid. hold a wide range bass sizes inside.

feel you. the are NOT cheap. i waited until i had some espensive type bass like the Dingwall before i could justofy that much on a bag.
