ok, duh that's what i get for reading schematics on my phone.
so the PCB is the same for both and the xx means those components aren't used in the V8 and of course some different values.
Hopefully they will follow a model similar to GGG and have a kit that can do several variations of a circuit example 250/dist+/Ross, hyperpak/v8
and then offer some others because i can see people buying both and then going hmmm.
i know they wanted to make it easy to build but if they fit this in their super tiny enclosure they couldve made the jacks and power all at the top its not like its a VFE pedal filled with a gajillion parts.
all in all i give it a thumbs up
hmm maybe DLS kits

I actually think this is kind of cool. Especially for someone like myself who is just trying to dabble in building. Listened to bass demos for both pedals and don't really like the sound on bass, but still cool. I'd be down for an SFT kit for sure. That thing was cool from what I can remember.

Pretty neat, but I would be more excited if they offered the heliotrope in kit form. Seeing as it's discontinued and all

The Heliotrope hasn't been discontinued. And the kits will only be for the discontinued pedals. So no SFT,DLS,WIIO, etc.
