A Question About The Newer Disaster Transport.
Hey guys got a question for all you newer disaster transport users, do you have to crank the mix knob all the way to
get unity volume? I've got the older (5 knob version) one and even dimed there's a volume drop especially with fuzz.

No volume drop on mine, but I do run the mix full up usually, just because I like the repeats to be very present. I do believe the sound is actually boosted when full up a little bit. Great delay though.

But do you have the volume knob dimed in order to get unity level repeats (as stated before I have the older 5 knob version so no tone knob)

Just stomp on the switch as fast or slow as you'd like.

Are you running all true bypass pedals? My ghost disaster performs better with a buffer in front of it. Alot depends on your pedal setup.

I've had the old and have the new. Never had a problem with volume, so it might be specific to yours.

I crank it, but I usually like my delay a little past unity. Not sure if it is or not. I always assumed it was normal. Some pedals are just like this?

Both that I have had have no problem with going a bit above unity. With fuzz, the repeats aren't as pronounced, but the effect is still there - it just sounds all cavernous and space like instead of repeaty.

I notice a little tone cut when I play my newer Disaster Transport with fuzz, yes.

My original version has a volume drop if I put it in the effects loop of my amp, no drop when it is before the amp.
I picked up the new version during the last sale, haven't tried it in the loop yet, also works fine before the amp.
