I always think of getting a proper board with room for wiring and stuff underneath, and cables of the right lengths, but I probably move things around way too much for that to be worth it.
I feel the same way, as long as everything gets hooked up and is easy for me to step on, I'm set!

Ya'll are over thinking
I get jrmy's flux comment...half the time it's just a stack of pedals and not really a board
It gets organized every now and then but that lasts about 3 days.
Yeah, my home stuff usually gets totally re-ordered from song to song. But hey - I like the idea of using this as a challenge to create a board that I can use to create some archetypical insanity... for at least two songs...

Whenever we're in the process of writing for SF, one of my main considerations is making sure that it's something I can reproduce live. So I generally try to keep the pedals in the order I expect them to be in, even if my board isn't put together.

ha, my board is SUPER close to complete, and I'll just focus my GAS on a second board! use one, build another, that's the way!
Maybe partying will help.

We should make the person with the best pedal board give a pedal to the person with the worst.

I just took a pic of my band board. Isn't most of the cooler noisy stuff but it's what I use the most.

So if I send a Tubecreamer duct-taped to a cutting board, I get sent a Timeline?
Yes. Definitely this.

Can't wait to see what are the categories for voting, etc, etc....
We will have a lot of fun.
I'm in the 2000+
We should have a 6000+ section for MLC.
