I've been working on starting up a small business selling used effects, and whenever I get something in it's a struggle to not just put it in my personal collection.

I've been listening to the Melvins A LOT lately, but I only have Houdini, Nude With Boots, and The Bride Screamed Murder.
And I only really listen to Houdini.

I like the concepts and gear typically used in surf music more than the music itself.
Man or Astro-Man, Daikaiju, Laika and the Cosmonauts, The Surf Coasters, etc. are good bands, but I just can't get super into them. And I only like a handful of old surf songs.
It feels like a niche thing for sure.

I guess what I mean is that I don't want to hear "real" surf, just music that uses elements of it. Like newer surf bands.

Get A Senile Animal, and Bullhead. Though I listen to Houdini all the time, those two are total classics.

Though, my favorite is Hostile Ambient Takeover.

Polos were required attire for 6 years of my schooling, so I'm a little biased there.

See, certain ones. I'm a big fan of the flannel, and it's hard to get away with long sleeves in the summer here. Hence, short sleeves.

But, short sleeve, dressy-ish ones? NAH BRO
