Delay with Ghetto Effects Loop :)

Post by The Mad Owl »

Anyone know how to do this with... say, a digital delay pedal and do a make-shift fx loop using a mixer?

Don't have any money right now, but I do have a mixer and a bunch of pedals to experiment, see if it's for me :)

Should be able to go from guitar signal > mixer in (say Channel 1 for fun) > FX level on the mixer for that particular channel (if allowable on your board) or on the master channel > back to your board/amp.

Plug in the digidelay etc and whatever else into the FX send/return of the mixer.

Simple run the delay full wet with effects after it and blend your guitar signal in. If you want the effect to be applied over and over to the repeats put the delay and effects in a feedback loop to ger your repeats.
