nice double rebote, nice paint too. each one is worth about maybe $130 to $160. do the math. if someone tells you $300 then that is a pretty good deal. I would probably spend my money on something that can have pedals in the loop or an analog delay. the solidgold FX delay is $180 and has a loop. the MXR carbon copy is a good price for Chinese fake analog delay. carbon copy gets my stamp of approval. get two and you have something similar to the dual rebote you posted. in you want MN3000 style vintage analog delay, get the diamond delay used on ebay. I saw one go for $350. they are $600 new. the moog is $1000 so forget it.

you can get delay for way cheaper than 100 bucks. just get two danelectro delays and add delay time pots to them. cheap and simple.

If I can get mine put back together, I'll sell it on the cheap. :thumb:

I took it apart to trace it. Had to remove all the goop. I wrecked a few caps in the process and had to replace them. Now it's just sitting in a bin as a big pile of crap. Like C3PO in Empire when he gets all blow apart.

It's a PT2399-based delay with a loop and some adding wet filtering to keep the repeats from sounding too nasty. Pretty good little circuit.

I never actually finished the full trace. You can build something very similar by simply adding a buffered loop and a single tone control on the wet side, and a momentary footswitch that toggles between the feedback pot and a fixed low value (to give oscillation). It can by DIY'd without a full schematic, so I didn't bother. But I really should put that thing back together and get it working (and sold).

Do you mean it's not actually analog? Or that it doesn't use MN3000 style chips?

I don't know what he means but it is definitley analog, it uses 4 x BL3208 just like the EHX Memory Boy/Toy etc.
Nothing fake about it, unless he expected tape in a box.

If they sounded exactly like a MN3000 series BBD there would be no explanation for the prices MN pedals get. I do think the carbon copy is really great for the price. I kinda want one now just thinking about it.
