Good move bro!!! I'll be picking up some Abyss in Arizona next week and bringing it home to Indiana like I did last year! (and I WON'T be sharing either!) :thumb:

yeah to get a bottle in NY is a miracle so I am not in any hurry to pour someone a glass.

Tried to go to Stone Brewery this weekend. They had a 3.5 hour wait, so instead we wandered to The Lost Abbey.

HOLY LIVING FUCK this is one of the best beers ever. EVER. :omg:

From saint-Eustache, Quebec, the Simple Malt OR.
It's a strong malt liqueur.

GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSS

DRINK MOAR BEER

update:

DuPont Saison: apparently world class. was disappointed. Fantome is superior

Tripel Du Mont Aubert: decent trippel

had one beer a week ago i forgot about. i think it was something i had before, but idk

Dogfish Chickory Stout: guinness-y with moar smoke and a bit of cherry

edmund fitzgerald porter: lovely porter as usual from GLB

The Brew Kettle White Raja: probably my all time favorite IPA. its just so weird, tropical, smooth, complex AAAAAGH

Stone Self-Righteous Black IPA: like a nice fruity IPA with some chocolate and a teensy bit of coffee. typical stone malt oomph

Green Flash Le Freak: supposed to be a trippel/IPA hybrid and it accomplishes it, but kinda... averagey. would have rather stuck with the White Raja

also pet peeve: when places try to make trippels and quads with fruit.

bullshit. any quad or trippel maker worth their hops can make beer taste like fruit WITHOUT it

After being ill while abroad, I snagged one of these in a bar on the last day.

I don't think I've ever had a tripel I didn't like. Now to find something devilishly good for tonight...
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

I tried some sort of really good IPA while I was out in California, but I have no idea what it is now. The draft handle had some shifty looking eyes on top?
