Second, usually the clank with fuzz just doesn't sound good at all. You have to turned the bass tone controls down tp eliminate unwanted clean clank in the first place for it to work. Which doesn't improve the bass aggression a bit. And then ALL is fucked.

I've wondered WHY the bass pedals just can't have a clean blend with a tone controll (low pass filter) dedicated to that clean channel, so it cut's all but the low end if that's what the clean blend is supposed to ensure in there.

This is exactly why I wired my bass stereo. I can run fuzz through the bridge pickup and roll the tone down on my neck pickup. if you do put in a clean blend I second or third the clean blend tone knob

I have an "extra" bass to fuck around with and started drilling the hole for the second output just now.

For the love of all that's holy, no more Muff variants. Don't get me wrong - Muffs are great, and there are billions of flavors to be had, but that's the problem. There are billions of builders doing their version of a Muff. Whatever you do, either try for something unique, or base it off a less-well-trodden fuzz of yore. There are plenty of awesome non-Muff circuits that could use some greater mutation / distribution / availability.

I'd really like someone to make a Buzzaround built for bass. I know EQD makes the Sound Shank, which isn't easily available, and every other "boutique" guitar effects company "makes" one as well, but I'd like to see someone tweak and add/subtract to the circuit to make it a bass fuzz, like Robot Factor/BassFuzz.com did with the Tentacle Love Superfuzz. I think it would be awesome.

OOOOOO!!!! Yes - this would be fantastic. I love me some Buzzaround, but it is definitely not that bass-friendly. It would be quite awesome if someone could make it so.
