Re: Hey, MudFuzz
Im not mudfuzz but I would assume that it really depends on if you want overdriven bass all the time or not

Also, I just realized I capitalized the F in Mudfuzz.
Looks weird when I look at the thread title.

Re: Hey, MudFuzz
than you could get pretty loud for like a coffee house type place. for cleans they are pretty much recording only or mic'd type amp. I had one years ago and it sounded wonderful. I sold it to a guitarist friend. it sounded even better with guitar

Yeah, that's what I figured. It probably wouldn't work for me, but I am still interested.

Re: Hey, MudFuzz
Ok so being mudFuzz and all I will say this...
I love the thing my self and yeah it's pretty much a coffee house amp but in a pinch I have played one outdoor gig on it [Tokeland Wood Fest] and it did fine but was a bit overdriven... but we was play'n blues so it was fine.
Soundwise.. it's like if fender made a portaflex, thing was actually designed by Paul Rivera... If you want to hear it it's in all my pedal demo vids except the melx2 and WHF. Oh... I was getting some speaker wobble on mine on low notes so I put some foam in the cab which fixed the prob.

i played bass through a twin once and it was pretty bad ass I would suggest picking up a bass cab and run the twin into it

this was my other plan. might shop around for a bass cab now.
