I'm sure they can be "tweaked" according to who ordered them, too. For whatever reason the Valco one seems to use different jacks and doesn't use any hardware on the switch.
Frak, there are probably at least twenty brands that Super Fuzz pedals were sold under. Doesn't make them a scam. Freakish was a scam because they were lying their asses off.

Yeah, as long as they aren't claiming to be anything other than a cheap Chinese pedal, I think its all good. As previously mentioned, the univox, shin ei, etc stuff is what immediately comes to mind.
