Max Goldman

Post by the Life Aquatic »

Anyone ever heard of the place called Max Goldman, they sell electrical supplies. theyre show room/ store front is now closed so they operate out the back. Its in new rochelle, NY and its in some sort of sketch alley way behind my backyard of the house i rent at college. never got a chance to go in there and see if they sell components i could use for pedal building. im back home and too lazy to call so id figure id ask around on here if anyone has dealt with them. and plus if anyone's close by it could help them cut out shipping :idk: and if i can get supplies from there i may start attempting to build pedals again. so anyone got some info?

If you are in new rochelle, there should be like 10 places less than 30 minutes away right. Use the yellow pages or google and ask them if they sell potentiometers, resistors, opamps. If they say yes yes yes, get in your car. Most of these stores sell things in 10 or 100 packs. They are for medium sized business. The old school hobby shop business model is pretty dead. Get your list together before you go. Some of them have a desk and a warehouse so you do not walk and shop at all.

haha i dont have a car so its limited to reasonable walking distance. the fact that max goldman is basically in my backyard would make things amazing easy. they seem to just be operating out of a small warehouse now. i really gotta just walk in and ask. as soon as i get back to school im gonna. i googled electrical components before and all i got was pleaces that dont sell direct or industry specific parts
