Post by WeHuntKings »

i loved it aside from the huge volume drop on the reissue version...was wondering if anyone made good clones or souped up versions out there. :poke:

Here's one I did a couple months ago for the band Part Chimp.

The FB is loud as hell. If there is a volume drop then there is definitely something wrong.

Every single FB reissue I've played is wrong.

I've only played one reissue, and yeah, it didn't blast like it should have. I actually dug the sound quite a bit, even if it was a little muddy. I had the same thought the other day regarding the topics discussed here:

viewtopic.php?f=149&t=22450

...whether or not there was a good Fender Blender clone. I'd never seen one, but I'm glad I have the option of a Basic Audio one! Hopefully it sounds like the original... I'm guessing so after seeing Mr. Lyons quote above about the reissues.

I thought the RIs were fixable. They go cheap enough used if that's the case.

i have an original but i hate the idea of gigging with it should some scumbag nab it, I would be super interested in a good clone. THIS THREAD IS RELATIVE TO MY INTERESTS
