I bought this guitar in 1980 when I was 14 years old. It was my first electric. I played it in punk bands (Some names of bands: "Three Demented Guys Not Carrying Trash", "Droning Pygmys", "Deathdonkey".....for some reason we felt a need to feature the letter "d" in our band names.) during the 1980's, thus the scratched up look. Wiring is sketchy. Pickup was replaced in 1986. I've got the trem bar somewhere. Its got a really nice thin playable neck on it. So I am trying to figure out what to do with it: Leave it like it is; sell it; restore it back to a nice state of appearance and playability.

Yeah.....it wouldn't take much to get it back in decent playable condition....the roughness is for the most part cosmetic....the wiring needs to be redone....could probably use a pickup upgrade.
^^^ This. That thing looks great! I'd just clean it up a little bit and get the wiring sorted and have it set up real nice. Looks like a keeper to me, man!
