I completely agree. I have a friend who knows music theory pretty well from playing the piano, and he writes these extremely dissonant songs that make me insanely jealous of his knowledge. You can't write dissonance into music unless you know music theory.

Anyway here's my earliest board pic because I'm holding out on posting my current one for the contest:

what's kinda crazy is that I still own half of these...

I see a 6x9 in there. I wouldn't be surprised if it were an old stereo.

Actually it's one of those old rear-projection televisions. I used to set up right in front of the tv and try to make soundtracks for what I was watching.

That hype was one filthy filthy whore of a fuzz. It was passed around for ages going from one gang-banging board of fuzz to another. I haven't seen it in the bst thread for a long time, I hope it's being put to good use.

And looking at that I can't for the life of me remember how the signal is being routed through those pedals.

Main board with noisy poop for kicks at home on the bottom. Xerograph and the Freq. Anal. switch places on occasion, depending on my mood. Should probably just have both on there...

EDIT: Yarp, I should. And now I do! :joy:
