I totally have a TGP board.
I totally make music that 99.9% of TGP dudes would HATE.
I'm totally cool with both of those things.

nah, no pics right now. I'm waiting on a new Bedroom Board before I take more.
I have some super stereotypical TGP pedals, though - they just work for me.

I agree with all the "TGP attitude" thing. Don't worry so much about what other people think just buy based on what you think you'll use, need, and sounds best for the money you want to spend. Fuck everyone else.
If you go for a delay I wouldn't really go based on price-categories, other people's opinion on "the best," or go for a end-all kind of delay because every delay has its own flavor and can be just as satisfying depending on the context and the person. My favorite delay is the muza fd900 I think it's one of the best delays you can buy for under $400 (p.s. it costs ~$90). If you haven't tried/owned many delays then buy some cheapo version of the one you think you might like and then go search for the best version if you decide you like it.

For all the TGP shit talking, it's a great place to buy/sell the high-end shit. I got my El Cap for about $265 on TGP.

I don't know how much you paid for it but i don't see it being worth more than 300$. Nothing is worth more than original price unless it was made in extremely small quantities and is no long available.

I got mine on here, and i'm very pleased with the price i paid and from whom i got it from. I'd much rather support fellow ILFers than "Lawyers who don't really need the cash"

Question
If a TGP board is eight overdrives worth more than a car and a strymon, and if an ILF board is four wolf computers with delays between 'em, a flanger hoax, and a bunch of DOD pedals in a feedback looper in a feedback looper, what does that make a HCFX board?

I want a giant bunny and I want a bunch of regular bunnies and they will form a hive mind and the giant bunny will be the queen bunny and they will attack in swarms.

Oh man... what have I done?
I was only playing around man, mostly said that because of yer two overdrives, which i never understood
Honestly, if the set up works for you, that's great, I'd love to be 'done'.
I was just saddened by yer lack of delay and modulation, yer missing out!

Re: what constitutes a tgp board
to me the thing about TGP and ILF is that the only difference is that instead of multiple ODs its multiple fuzzes, and modulation, and delays that aren't just used for slapback.
so instead of spending $500 on ONE pedal, its spent on 5

Re: what constitutes a tgp board
Or it's $500 spent on one pedal that does 1000 noisy things and has one normal sound. I think the important part is we're not tone lawyers and we're not (in general) snobbish about cheap or common gear.

Question: If a TGP board falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it fall, how many overdrive pedals does it take to make a sound?
