AP tests are a lot of work. i took my first one today.. if you dont know what they are you take a test either in this week or next in a particular subject. if you pass you get the college credit (theyre for high schoolers...) you can either take the class or study your ass off.... Example: today I took statistics and friday I take european history... (by the way my euro teacher is being sued and its on the news... if youve heard of it.. thats me!)
AP's are great...saved me a semester or two of college. I aced them all and even got some special award for getting so many 4's and 5's. Didn't study for any of them...or do any of the required hw Granted they were all english/history related. I'm mildly retarded at math/science.
i was thinking about that but there is SOOOO much homework. like 5 hours a night... i need tim to build pedals, play spots, and hang out... not for me..
I took IB English, and AP History this year. Its a total waste of time IMO.It may be just my teachers, but everything we do is reading like 40 pages of a history book take notes, then test. For English all we do is pick apart books looking for themes, imagery, stuff I don't really need to know.I'm dropping those classes next year and taking regents.

Pretty much the same for me. I entered college with 16 credits from APs and community college (senior year of HS I took 1-2 classes in the morning then drove to the community college and took 1-2 more classes there). For AP Bio, I was too lazy to do the "labs" and the homework, so I got a D- in the class, but a 5 on the test
