NAMM 2012: new pedals ;-)

Post by DiscoFreq »

Since other media often include pedals in their NAMM reports while I already posted them long before NAMM, this time I already started a list of pedals expected to be "released" at NAMM:

Already some very interesting pedals (for various reasons) that most didn't notice yet, because I think there would have been vivid discussions about them ;-)

For example: the Daphon F16 pedals all have names of MXR pedals :D

Never has the name Carbon Copy been more appropriate...

Those Mooher pedals look good. Especially the shimverb and pitch shifter. Nice tiny enclosures even if catalinbread invented them.

Any word on price?

So is anyone here going to NAMM? I went last year for the first time and have the chance to go again this year, but I am on the fence.

(Hope this isn't too off-topic, but I figured I'd put it here and make this the NAMM super-thread....)

^ I was wondering the same thing. Any ILF builders going?

I live right outside of Anaheim so I'd probably go if some cool peeps are gonna be there. Last time it was all wrinkly dudes with ponytails..

I'm not going this year (baby, not enough holidays, expensive from Belgium,...), so if anyone is going, please make lots of pictures of the pedals, I'll really need them to spot the new pedals the big media missed (they always do :)).

You'll get credit for the pictures and maybe I can do more than that, depending on quality, number of new pedals, speed,...

Brochures of new pedals are also very welcome (and media kits, but that's harder to get I suppose...)

I'm going to corner the market on the EHX "vintage batteries" before the Eric Johnson Fuzz Face comes out just to make blues dudes cry.

This NAMM list contains very little to give a shit about thus far. :(
I guess that's the norm, huh, save the good stuff for a surprise!
