gawd. i'm.... scared to pick up Dark Souls. looks so much what i love about RPG's. afraid my spare timd will shrivel up and die.

fucking Belkin. and/or Microsoft. picked up a LinkSys (i forgot they were owned by Cisco now and i kept looking down, panicking, thinking, "they didn't SAY Cisco was reliable with... oh. yesh. LinkSys logo. deep breaths."), got home, hooked it up, chucked their "Setup Cd" at the wall and configured it. within 5 minutes my fone, laptop, desktop, 360, PS3, NAT Drive and tv file interface thingie were ready to go and talking to each other and the interwebz. vs a month of back and forth with different company support lines with the Belkin. MUCH BETTAH.

also, who the fuck just puts in a cd and lets it do whatever clandestine shit to your computer it wants? fuck THAT. i don't know what it plans, what it wants to change..... no no no no. MY system. get your dirty, walking on the floor paws offa it. rarrrrrrr.

also, fucking unwashed masses. i had to look up each router online while i'm in the store BECAUSE THEY DON'T PRINT THE SPECS ON THE BOX ANYMORE. lotsa colorful graphics and "so easy to setup, Mongolian Hordes could do it! after they rape your wife and pillage your village of course!!".

fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK.

i've been having to get up and unplug my router and plug my 360 straight into my modem for the last few weeks, ever since i upgraded my old ass router. just FINALLY got Xbox support (after like 4 calls to them and about 10 calls to Belkin) to admit that they have problems getting Belkin routers to work on their service. gonna have to go buy a Linksys or Netgear. they gave me some model numbers of current ones that don't have issues with them. fucking ANNOYING. and it's been about 2 months since i purchased my Belkin router, i don't have the box anymore so i can't return it. it's only like $60 to get a new one, just don't..... don't WANT to spend that money on that.

damn it.

First World Problems FTW.

Dude... I fucking HATE belkin.... I bought some hi power bigness wifi router device machine from them and a usb wifi stick... the stick was just a empty box with a plug sticking out. The routed was the biggest piece of crap in existence. Luckily I didn't throw away the boxes and I was able to return them. I got a netgear and lived happily ever after.

yeah. the LinkSys is treating me right. just........ works. and that's all i want. i don't do any crazy routing. weirdest thing in my setup is a NAS drive to back up music files to. i hide that in an out of the way place so if i got robbed i'd still have all my data.

but nothing complex. IT'S A FUCKING 360. THEY'VE BEEN AROUND FOR AWHILE AND PROVED THEIR POPULARITY.

Yeah.. I needed some fancy router to handle my vlan stuff... turned out that I can get a cheapo netgear thingy and put some kind of custom operating system Rom on it to handle that.... thanks for the hint, Internet nerd guy!
