Friggin right, makes my 4x10 look (and probably sound) pretty weak. That said, I find it annoying enough carrying that to gigs, never mind even bigger cabs.

That's my feeling. Sadly, lugging around 2 2x12s plus everything else is about all the energy I'm willing to put forth now days. Shit's loud enough for now.
Yeah, I went from wanting us to play out of two full stacks and two bass cabs to now playing half stacks and single bass cab. So much easier, plenty loud, and just doesn't look as silly. Might sell my 4x12 for a 6x12 in the future, mainly to get a bit more headroom/volume, but I'm good for now. Hoping a single 2x15 will be loud enough for what we do.

Hahhaa. yeah. I'm down to gigging with a Diabolical and an Emperor vertical 2x12. I'm getting old. lol

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
I'd be so happy with a 2x12 (or two in stereo , but that's just greedy) . Ya'll don't even know. I mean, I can't really be that loud in a dorm room anyways; my 1x15 bass combo is overkill. But still.

I'm no longer satisfied with the toans that my Hartke 410 is putting out, so I've been wanting to try other cabs. But...really, Achtane? Do you really need another cab? Do you REALLY even need this 410? You don't, really. You don't even play out. Don't be silly. Not yet anyway.
I dunno, it would be nice to have a little 115 or somethin' every now and then. I'd like to try the fEARful thing were I not perpetually broke. Maybe one day someone will sell a Peavey 215 on Craigslist. I'll always have my tower of power though.

I love that modular look. Reminds me of theavondon's setup as well, amps and cabs wherever they'll fit.

Yeah, running Standard and Oversize Emperor 2x12s is actually louder than my old Orange 4x12, substantially. I kept my Emperor 4x12 around to pair up for max volume but it's been collecting dust lately. 2x12s are tops alone or paired. Oversize even better. 15s rule as well, wouldn't mind a 2x15 in the future but probably/definitely overkill for my needs too. Still want it...
