ILF Bowie Cover Collaboration
So, some of you came up with a great idea to get some ILFers together and put together a compilation of David Bowie songs we have recorded/performed/will record soon.
I think this needs to happen. I am very glad to be among fellow Bowiefreaks like myself and I think with everyone's unique sense of style when it comes to playing music, we could put something together that would kick some serious ass.
Whether it be glitched out versions of Ziggy Stardust, taking the Sabbath influence/sounds on The Man Who Sold the World and running with it, or just doing some more fuzzed up versions of his classic songs...Some cool shit could happen here guys.
Let me know if any sizable number of you would like to do this. The man has a huge career and the sounds could be just as diverse as his discography.

Tentative maybe, if I can do "Life on Mars?".
Also got to figure out some way of doing recordings better than how I'm doing them now.
If someone else wants the song though and knows they'll definitely do it that's fine.

Just for one day.
You guys rock. Didn't think this was gonna catch on this well.
As far as recording quality is concerned I think it'd be great if we had everything from lo-fi to some serious studio stuff.

Re: ILF Bowie Cover Collaboration
We do probably need someone to "produce" the whole thing. Levelling it all out, sequencing it and so on.
I'm tentatively in for The Width Of A Circle. I'll report back if I can get the right people involved.
