Help with Spdt

Post by JamesonMule »

I have ran into a roadblock on my devi ever US project. I can't seem to find any lay outs for a spdt switch. Which of the poles is for input/output/ and which poles goes to the jack. Im working with a spdt switch with the poles all in a line, they are numbered 1 2 3, above 1 it says on, above 2 it says com, and above 3 is says on.

Thanks
James

you can say the switch is 1 2 3 or 3 2 1. it is all the same. middle lug on the switch is always 2.

What function does the switch serve? Like a chaos mode or? You wouldn't be using a spdt for bypass...
