NPD: Super Fuzz Clone-age NOW WITH DEMOZ

Post by Gearmond »

So my North Effects Super came in today, and its so tiny :omg:

i'd have gut shots but theres one screw on so tight I pretty much stripped it, but i DID pry open the back a little bit, and everything looks real neat and perdy

shot from the site. and I prefer my color scheme of purple blue and green, personally.

I'm on vacay for the next week but imma bring this guy back to school for a test run, and a chance to quench my lack of fuzz at the dorm room.

Those guts are cute as hell. So basically you got a new fuzz and cant play it for a week? Good luck, I'm in the same predicament.
Chankgeez wrote:True, but you can also use the Klon as a tremolo. Just stomp on the switch as fast or slow as you'd like.

update:

its pretty awesome. since the octave is really sensitive to pick attack, its a lil different from other pedals i've had. notch mode on bass is glorious

still need more time to play with it, and maybe make comparison videos.

That's really cool, I've been thinking about trying a super fuzz (and north effects) for a while, those guts are pretty.

yeah, id take a picture of mine, but one screw is on so tight, its basically completely stripped ( ._.)

but on the bright side, the octaves sound reeeeeeeeeeel purdy. and its friends with the Sea Machine which does dirty things to the ring moddier sounds. can't wait to see how it plays with the AB :!!!:

i'd recommend 'em. bought a mind bender around the same time from cali, and the north came in the mail first. also its currently the cheapest superfuzz clone out there, so its got that going for it. and he makes some supoib trems and Red Llama ODs (that sound nicer in his demos than most red llama youtube demos, imo). actually he has REALLY cheap prices overall with excellent koala tea, so he seems like the Tom of clones!

heres some more gut porn.

I hate that I read this thread and got turned on to North, because now I have to order a Repeat Percussion and MFZ-1.
