I spent the whole sunday with the new empress compressor and came up with a video demo.
I have to admit that its pretty hard to do a decent compressor demo video cause good compressor use is the one you dont actually notice.
So i picked a classic setting in the first minute to just slightly enhance tappings, then i have choosen a more extreme but still usefull setting and stacked it into the multi drive and later the super delay.
Later in the demo i am going thruh the ratio toggle with a more classic setting followed from another comp into super delay part and then some "boring" chords and a more extreme setting on the clean comp with no other effects.
All i can say is that the Empress Compressor is the best i have tried so far. I instantly flipped my philo and keeley comp and i am totally happy with this neat little buddy…
It takes some time to learn it, the input knob is a very powerfull tool and the input/hold lightshow is last but not least a pretty cool feature ;-P

Re: Empress - Compressor
Cool vid, I tried it and couldn't dial in my ideal comp tone, swapped it about a week ago.
It was an awesome tool, but lost out to a barge RC2
