DD-20 and SMMH are good choices.

i prefer SMMH to DD_20... i've had both and SMMH seemed superior to DD-20

plus you can use SMMH's reverse for creating the most awesome ambient reverb ever... what's not to like?

Charles, whatever you do, don't sell your arm and leg for 400 bucks. It's not worth it, I promise

Line6 M5. Can do reverse delay, has tap tempo, and then it can do every other effect the M series can do.

SMMH is the funnest.
Digitech Timebender is just fine.
Behringer Echo Machine does it, too. If you're into that kind of thing.

heard decent things about the Hardwire DL8. it's pretty affordable compared to the others and it has a ton of versatility with all the modes. probably a little easier to figure out too. but then again, those TC's are getting rave reviews as well

Anyone tried a Danelectro Talkback?
I used it a couple times and still recall it's a pretty cool reverse delay pedal.

TC Nova Repeater, I got it specifically for the reverse delay and ended up enjoying the entire pedal.

The SMMwH, in addition to a regular reverse, has a tap/reverse. You can be playing a standard 1 sec delay, then hit the momentary footswitch to trigger a reverse delay.

I am all about the timebender, it currently has the longest run on any board I own, the reverse is great, plus you have preset options which is awesome, does octaves and modulation.

I gather that reverse delay refers to the original signal played backwards.

Alternatively are there any delays that trail in reverse? I'd like to have one where the sound is still played forwards, but the delays start out quiet, and progressively get louder...and then cut off. My RE-20 sort of does this with the feedback knob dimed, but the delays never stop and it gets out of control.
