the ex is coming in two hours with civil monitors to pick up property and the cats. she's not allowed to talk to me or enter the house per the stipulation. one of the cats got out while i've been taking her stuff out to the shed, so that cat won't be available. i'll be locked in my bedroom with my phone and laptop until they're gone.

it's really awful...the cats know that something's wrong...they're pacing around meowing uneasily as i try to reassure them and act like nothing's wrong, while i want to burst into tears and curl up on the floor weeping like a baby. this hurts more than losing the gf...the cats never did anything to hurt me.

well, apparently she's not coming today. it rained over an inch last night, which makes it too difficult to bring a truck down the muddy driveway. she was supposed to notify me or my attorney to confirm she was coming.

she got the court to award her the cats since i wasn't there to defend myself. my attorney will be, er, on the case on Monday and either something will get sorted out or we'll file a stay of the order. i'm willing to let her have 2 of the cats if i can keep one. the little girl really loves her, and Buddy and the little one are very affectionate towards each other. Giving up Buddy will break my heart, but if i get to keep Ronaldinho (the escapee) i'll be OK because he's such a larger-than-life character. but fucking hell, this hurts. honestly, it's worse than losing her.
