envelope filter idea

Post by D-Rainger »

So I was toying with the idea of making an envelope filter, and was having some vague ideas about things... The definitive touch-wah for me was always the mighty EHX Q-Tron, with its tone-shaping settings, the resonance control (love that), and the 'up/down' switch.
I was wondering about on my one, the pedal deciding whether it's 'up' or 'down' randomly at the start of each note... So long as it's done cleanly, it'll still have the funk, yes?
You got any things you'd like to see in a t-wah - maybe that's not done before??

There should be resonance controls on everything! Even on my washing machine, then I could turn down the resonance. I love my DR Q in a Feedback Loop, maybe it would be worth a shot to incorporate such a function.

I gotta try that! Doesn't it just go up and up... and up...?

screams pretty quickly. But in a good way. I think it's basically the same as this:
