it seems to me, as someone who plays a Jazz Bass when bassing, that the location of the f-hole on the J-Bass isn't exactly optimal...it looks like it'd snag on your sleeve. a lot. in general, the added f-holes seem a bit less ergonomic on the non-Tele models to me, but the J-Bass one seems particularly ill-placed.
