Is there an Earthquaker that...

Post by oldangelmidnight »

I'm looking for a low gain dirt that will add fatness with a nice grittiness while maintaining clarity and not adding any raspyness or harsh treble. (How about that for vague descriptors?) Does it exist?
I've been wanting to try something Earthquaker for a while but nothing has come my way yet. Does anything in the lineup meet my needs?

I haven't tried it yet, but isn't this exactly what the Speaker Cranker is for? I think the Monarch does this well also.

Your description is pretty much exactly what one of our upcoming devices does. It won't be coming out for a while though. I don't think anything we currently make fits that bill. The monarch on low gain may work.

Thanks for the hint. I'll look forward to hearing more.

Give the Monarch a shot. Don't be afraid to use those tone controls...and be warned, that sucker gets loud...
Special low-frequency version.
