I think the Pawnshop models are CIJ. I'd go for the Pawnshop Mustang before this, but that's me. I'm not big on the Cyclone, and if one were to grab me, it'd be the Cyclone II, anyway. I'm "meh" on Strat trems and sing-hum pickup setups.
Pretty colors, though.

I've been looking for a Cyclone for awhile. I wish this was Fender...and they would put a maple neck on, but whatever. I definitely think I'd put a P-rail in the humbug spot. I just wish natural finishes were more common.
I will say that I almost prefer the way the Squier teles sound at times. Definitely a different tone, but I like...maybe I'll have the same luck...
Fuck, i was gonna save and get a Ric but I might just do this in the meanwhile...actually, yes I am. I also don't know why I said that about the whole Fender thing...
I love the humbucker...definitely gonna swap it out though.
For $540 you could build a custom Mustang/Jaguar/Cyclone/whatever in any color you'd like with the pickup setup that you want. Seems like anything Fender/Squier Japan is insane for price lately.
These are a very real 'watch GC online used bin' type items.
I got a '69RI Mustang in the "Revolt yellow" that someone had gone to town on and added a bucker to for well under $400 - they thought it was a partsocaster or a refin.
