The TAFM has been in the chain constantly for a few months. There have also been two other fuzz boxes at my feet alongside the TAFM for the past couple of weeks. The Zvex Fuzz Factory and the Devi Ever Noise Floor ZG.

the way the eq is working is amazing... you turn a knob and you got octave down... you turn another knob you have a glitchy trebely fuzz... and some more.
it will never leave my board!

The only fuzz I have right now is the Blackout Twosome, lately I've been really digging the Fix'd side.

Right now, I'm really digging the simple 33 Devi circuit. I have a weird phaser before it, set the 33 to decay short but not immediately, reverb after. The phaser kind of fades in and out of frequencies that get through the fuzz, almost trem like.

Playing high up on the neck, "ambient" stuff. Sounds fucking awesome.

I will honestly love my Superfuzz to the grave.

A friend asked me if my house was burning down would I rather save my superfuzz,
or my $3000 bass. I said the fuzz.

this is a tough call, because i love all four fuzz/distortions on my board right now, but at present the one i use most is the EQD Sound Shank. it's the only all-germanium box i use, and it has that wonderful compressed Buzzaround thing that nothing else really does. that's why i bought it...i wanted that squashed, dense Robert Fripp sound like on the Fripp/Eno LPs.
