LEDs with oscilators

Anyone know how to get LEDs to flash along with an oscillatorrr? (rotyrbrain)
Are they just clipping diodes?

No the RYB sends out 9v bursts, i just connect them to LED and audio.

So the joysticks also clontroll power to led and not circut?
Sorry don't really know how it's configured 4 osc- 2 joystick...

The joysticks each control the resistance in two oscillators, which in turn controls the speed of the oscillation. The burst of electricity coming out of the oscillator lights the LED and sounds as a click. Make any sense?
