Can someone confirm whether or not this pedal is as awesome as this video makes it out to be? Also, if you own it, does it achieve unity?

Re: Ox Fuzz?
I used to have the OX Fuzz Dark and I liked it a lot but I never got it to sound like it does in that clip.
From my experience with it and from listening to that clip, I'd say a lot of that sound has to due with the tuning and amp.
I could never get it to sound quite that heavy and found the only setting I used much was both knobs maxed.
While I had it, I lent it out to ILF Forumite and effect reviewer extraordinaire Wes Mantooth/Mike Fetting and he did a review for it on his blog.

I think his review and clips are pretty accurate to what the pedal does/sounds like.
Keep in mind his review is of the "Dark" version of the OX Fuzz which I assume sounds darker than the original.
If you are looking for a heavy Fuzz Face variant I would suggest the Earthbound Audio Centurion.
In my opinion it's more versatile and much heavier than the OX.
*Edit: On the YouTube comments for this video he says he used a "1973 Orange 120 w/ 4X12 and 1969 Traynor Custom Special w/ 2X15. 1980 Ibanez Artist" which explains some of the heavy.
