maybe someone else has posted something similar.....forgive if so...
using a volume pedal with a tuner out-
have the volume pedal after all the dirt, or even the end of the board (whatever works for ya):
plug the pipe amp into the "amp send" so it's controlled by the pedal, and use he tuner out to send the signal to the amp:
you can then bring the pipe amp into the signal chain gradually and by having it right in front of you it creates an ebow feedback type thing that's pretty fukking rad.
you can experiment with using it in different ways, like holding it as an ebow over the pickups, or on a stand aimed at the pickups....whatever.
the pipe amp drives the big amp and becomes a feedback generator of sorts.
mic the big amp.
i used to do this with different small amps and even a zinky little smoky to create controllable feedback/endless sustain in low volumes..or for just weird textures.
demo????? if i get the time i'll pop one up...but a lotta shite is going on over this way and it'll have to wait.

I like your style Elwood. I bet that sounds good as hell! And MLC, that is some funny shit...
I used to play trumpet and accordion into an old CB mic into a crap thrift store tape deck (ran way in the red) and then out to my teenaged bedroom stereo system (Panasonic all-in-one turntable / radio / dual cassette deck FTW.) That rig would feedback like crazy and sustain for days. Sounded sweet.

Wow,the Volume pedal thingy is something I never thought about myself. The Feedback Ebow thing is something I've tried, just by moving the amp from pickup to pickup with the selector in the middle position. But this takes that to a whole other level. Fuck,I need a volume pedal...
