I don't understand how this isn't solved yet.

Categories by post count.
0-150
150-1000
1000-2000
2000+

Submit picture of your own board with your category and user name to Gunner.
He will organize a thread for each category with pictures and polls.
Done.

Also, I think we should have a regulation for the board pictures.
640 x 480 pixels seems to be a fairly standard size that's not too big/small.

No names. No post counts. No prizes.

Just boards.

That's the way to go.

This. I may add that Photoshop tampering is excluded unless explanations are needed (This brown blob is my neighbors liver that I keep for mojoal purposes etc...). MAybe take two pics, one for gunner to confirm it is that actual person's board so that has a paper stating your name and post count and one bare pic that goes up for voting.

I take it that most submissions will come at the end anyway so we might as well just set a final date. December 31st? And then voting in the beginning of 2012? Starting Sat 7th and going till Mon 30th. That way some people might be able to work in their Secret Santa presents and possible other Xmas presents.

Gunner, where do we send the emails to?

I agree with no prizes.

I know this was probably covered, but whatever you use counts as your one board right?

Actually, no it hasn't been covered, but yeah, I'd say multiple board configurations or stuff on the floor count.

ok cool, that makes me feel better. Still not confident about my chances because 1k plus looks tough but at least I don't have to fit everything on one plank.

Also: I think extra points should be given for multiple wall warts and un-uniform cable.

I think we shouldn't rule anything out as to content of the picture. If you want to put Fuzzy Box Girl next to your board, I'd say fine. Let the vote decide.

Holding off for a bit sounds cool...until after secret santa or new years or w/e.
I'll give out an email when we get closer.

Off board/multi-board stuff is fine by me.

I'm fine with no names during voting if people want that, not a bad idea.

I think the post# categories help encourage lurkers/newer members to join in and not get crushed by the old timers...so I vote to keep that.

Let's not make any major changes to outlined rules for this year, okay? :thumb: I'm just... applauding for anarchy here :hello:
