anyone ever made an expression pedal?

tried googling it and nothing! just wondering if anyone has attempted it. guessing you would need a pot and some jacks. trying to make one for my line 6 modelers. wanna move up in my diy projects!

youd wanna use a wah pot:

and i dont know where else youd put exept in an old wah enclosure...

and ya send the pot to a stereo jack and youre good....

yeah i have been doing a little detective work. i think all i would need is a 10k pot and a stereo jack. i was thinking of making it out of wood cuz i gots tons of tools (saws, drills, shit. etc).

i was looking at the line 6 pedal (cuz it will be for my fm4 and dl4) and the cable is mono. i am thinking it might only take a mono jack though.
