The name comes from where I live- a small (really fucking small- the only public place is a phone booth.. yeah.. THAT kind of small) village on the butt of austria (on the slovenian border- Karawankentunnel) called "Schlatten". We have more cows than people here... So when I first got into my fancy electronics school in klagenfurt, the capital of carinthia, everybody picked on me and called me "Schlatte"- yeah.. that's the story...

I've had so much trouble getting along with phasers in the past. The Faye Sing is thoroughly changing that perspective and I've only had it 2 days. Plus Ken slapped the hammerite finish on it which gave him so much trouble he's vowed to never repeat the process with a pedal that requires filed openings. One-off fuckers!

Good stuff though. I'd imagine if you already love the phasing, your dick may explode when you plug this thing in.

I already bought what i think was the first and only used one so far.

And yes my cock exploded when I plugged it in. It sounds amazing on bass,
with fuzz - even better.

Now i just need to cop an expression pedal to use with it
