Death Grips - Exmilitary

This Will Destroy You - Tunnel Blanket

Bon Iver - Bon Iver

Other good albums from: Radiohead, Summer People, Sonic Youth, Hella, Gypsyblood, The Dear Hunter.

I feel like I found a lot of good music this year, but not released this year.
I'm sure there's also quite a few I haven't had the time to listen to/money to buy yet, as well.

I haven't listened to the new Mastodon, Russian Circles, WITTR or Mogwai yet.

Records I liked this year:

Earth's new record was good (like Morricone on downers),
Bong's Beyond Ancient Space,
Indian's Guiltless,
Corrupted's Garten Der Unbewusstheit,
Weedeater's Jason... The Dragon,
Wugazi's 13 Chambers
Yob's Atma

Dunno if I could pick a real favorite from that list, though.
good deals are here.
flesh couch is here.

mr. Gnome - Madness in Miniature
just another fantastic album from a fantastically underrated band

Tom Waits - Bad as Me
most consistant man in the business

Unicorn Kid - Tidal Rave EP
fucking rad rave/seapunk EP that just kicks ass. last track is amazin

William Shatner - Seeking Major Tom
william shatner covering songs about space. pure gold

Skeletons - People
best prog rock band of the decade, with one of their best albums. and a rare spot of good lyrics for prog, too

Giles Corey - s/t
most depressing album ever. and i love it.

Bibio - Mind Bokeh
fantastic laid back smart poppy electronica
,':{I> ... your move, Trebek.

my music for you to put in your earholes :joy:

Empros - Russian Circles
Green Naugahyde - Primus
The King of Limbs - Radiohead
The Hunter - Mastodon
Probably El Camino - The Black Keys

Oh and City and Colour would be cool, but Alexisonfire split up and that takes away all of its cool points.

Moon Duo, Son Lux, Radiohead, Soft Moon, Fennesz and I am looking for the new Hauschka record. That will probably be good too.
