BTW after reading the linked article you posted i decided to try and bridge my Silvertone's channels.... it sounds niceeeeeeeeewould have never bothered had I not read this. Thanks a lot!
I like it a lot. Pickups sound pretty amazing all things considered, the neck feels nice and the body (on the Ash ones anyway) is heavy as hell and quite resonant.
I will say they do require one hell of a set up job though.

Awesome! Glad that helped. And yeah, I don't know that I'd gig with one of those either. The cabs never seem that sturdy to me. Can't beat the sound though! And I love that the heads piggyback inside the cabs.
New design by guitar maker Paul Rhoney (stereordinary on Offset Guitars). It's an offset somewhere between a Jazzmaster and Rickenbacker. It's pretty much completely hollow inside, has two wide range humbuckers each wired to a different output with a volume scroll pot control. All rosewood neck.
It will be the best guitar ever, coming all the way to Sydney very soon. Exciting
