this has probably been covered, but what do you dudes who make pedal demos use? camera, editing software, be specific! i'm wanting to get in the game a bit.
Are you using PC or Mac? I use my macbook's onboard camera, final cut pro for editing, and usually just my litle zoom h4n field recorder as an interface unless i'm doing it at the studio. As far as mics i try to use ones most people have available as a reference like an sm57 or a sennheiser e609, and use the onboard field recorder mics for talking and lining up with the video.

If I am going to do it right, I have a 8 track Presonus firewire recording interface, with either a large body condensor mic or a Senn E906 dynamic mic. I use Reaper recording software, Adobe video software. I record on a HD camcorder and bring all the video and audio files into Adobe then line up the two audio track and delete the camera audio. Add some titles boom done
