They both sound fine, haven't broken, and do the job. Let's be honest, people hate on Behringer because they have no pr0n factor. Meh.

i've owned a couple of behringer pedals, found them to have huge tonesuck (could easily tell when they where added to the pedalchain) the noise suppressor seemed to add more noise than what it suppressed. and they feel sooo plasticy cheap (i wouldnt expect the stomp switch to last long)
for the same prices i'd much rather get some Dano pedals... :snax:

They're trying to capture that elusive ART SGE/SGX pink and black and green backlight rackmount vibe.

It's essential for making Satan appear in your patchbay.

its metal, it should be covered in leather and studs. you know, manly looking (like Rob Halford....)

This is the sensitive side of Mr. Halford, raising his structure high on the Island of Domination.

That said, my absolutely meanest sounding guitar (and one of the top meanest I've ever played) is a baby shit yellow Mustang. The Hello Kitty guitar would be a macho step up.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

I'm not one to disregard a pedal because of how cheap it is (<3 fab echo for life), but I've heard terrible things about the build quality of behringer pedals. Also it's pretty tough to spell their name. I will however pick up one of these trio packs if I ever see them in an actual store, if nothing else then to see for myself. ;)

I really think it is a bad idea if you unbox them, might be worth something on ebay 60 years from now :thumb:

I'm not totally against cheap pedalz, I think Arion rocks

I hate on Behringer because they're absolutely unoriginal. Not because the pedals necessarily suck. I actually dig them. Just, fuck unoriginality.

That being said, the ability to try out-of-production Boss pedals for $30 rules.

Well, there is a whole hell of a lot of unoriginality out there in pedal-dom. Behringer certainly doesn't have a monopoly on a clone-based business model.

And yeah, my two Behringer pedals are a clone of a long-discontinued Boss pedal (DC-2), and the bass synth, which is actually an improvement over the Boss in functionality, IMO. So I have no ethical issues with either of those.

As for Danelectro, I had a French Toast, it sounds great. But I refuse to give any more money to them for discussed-ad-nauseam political reasons.

I haven't played these "tone-suckers" but my bassist and good friend uses a Behringer Vintage Time Machine and it's one of the sexiest and dirtiest echos I've fucked with.

Pretty much a rip off of the Memory Man, but shit, full featured analog delay for $70? Sign me up.
