Fender Jazz King
Anyone own one? I think I want one. I've never seen one ever, though.

Interesting looking amp. Some cool features in the pre amp.

Damn straight, brother. 140 watts of pure, unadulterated solid state POWER into a 15 inch speaker.

Re: Fender Jazz King
I generally prefer a tube amp for guitar but there are some badass solid state amps available for sure, the Jazz King being one. My friend found one on CL last year for $450, it's a BEAST! I completely underestimated it when he brought it by, just blew it off as another shitty solid state but it kills!
Takes pedals wonderfully, so there's that and it sounds huge! It can get boomy, obviously with that 15" (his came with an Eminence, I think), but the EQ was great so you could reign shit in if need be. Really warm for solid state, stays clean as fuck until you max it and even then its just light grit. Great pedal-platform amp with a shit ton of clean headroom if you can track one down.
I'm constantly nagging him to sell me his, I want to use it in a 2 amp setup. He refuses, without hesitation, every time.

Does a Jazz King outrank a Jazzmaster?
Curious and impertinent people need to know.

I think wars have been started over similar questions. Or at least invasions.
I play.
