My most recent soundtrack for Channel 101

Post by Ilikewater »

This cartoon was created by my good friend MC Griffin. He called me on a thursday and asked if I could have him a soundtrack by sunday. My quickest turnaround, but I don't say no to music projects.

hope you guys laugh.

I'm so happy right now

Not sure why but I was crazy amused by the watches the nurse gave them

The cartoon is being screened tonight in front of a live audience. If they vote us in, we get a second episode! here's to hoping.

wow, and no one even mentioned the pit sword!

The animator is a long time friend, MC Griffin. He has more up on his personal youtube. most of his recent shorts I've scored. We've got a couple in the works right now, really stepping his game up. Can't wait to show it off. The next one has all kinds of Thundaa on it.

Did another soundtrack for an animation that at this point has not been released. It didn't make it pass the panel meeting, but I put a lot of work into the soundtrack, so here is one of the themes. This was the villain's theme.

I used a 4 different guitars (rick 481 for the smoothest solo bit, subway baritone for the rhythms, yamaha and teisco for crazy bits). The dirt is mainly a Baby Thundaa and the glitchy business is the Midfi What?.

Any tips on the mixing for this one? I think this is my best job yet, but that doesn't mean it is good. Any feedback is always appreciated. I'm going to keep adding to this thread, rather than starting a new one for every bit I do.

Currently working on something super special for the new year. HUGE! Thanks!
